One Day…

By 420. Posted in art, model A | No Comments »

We will get our 1928 Ford roadster pick-up on the road. As cold as it is in the garage right now it looks like it will be rolling out on a shirt before it rolls out of the garage.

Model A update…

truck side

Have not posted any updates in a while. All this work we have been doing on the 2009 International Model A day patches has made me feel like I am falling behind on our Model A. International Model A day is Sept. 26th. I do not think ours will be on the road but it should be running. We have most of the wiring straightened out, water pump in. Getting closer all the time

Here’s our design for the Model ‘A’ Ford Day patch next to a scan of the final emblem.

You can learn more about the event and the emblems by clicking here, or you send an email to Bruce Adams.

Another Model A update…

dsc09594

Another week a little more work done. We have the body on. A dry run before painting the body. Hope to drive it soon before we paint. We have found out it is a 1928-9 roadster pick-up open body on a 1931 frame. Not all original but it is still going to be a lot of fun…

We got the 200 cubic inch 40 horsepower motor back into our freshly restored frame this week. Hope to drive it around awhile before we get busy on the body. It is going to look good delivering your shirts…more info on our type of truck can be found here. Ours will be like the yellow one…we hope.

Dreamwerks…

By 420. Posted in model A | No Comments »

We would like to thank Mr. James “Mike” Rogers of Dreamwerks for helping us sleep better knowing our 1929 Model A roadster pickup motor is going to work just fine. This motor has not run in at least 35 years. (He has an awesome new logo, by the way). Thanks again for all of your help… now and in the future…
